The charges for intermediate bandwidths will be on proportionate basis.
Local lead charges shall be applicable in MTNL area on back-to-back payment basis.
The above charges also include local lead charges if local lead is provided on existing media within the local telephone system area. If the customer is not located in the local telephone system area, 50% discount on local lead charges will be applicable for bandwidth of 2 Mbps & above.
The discount already provided to the existing customers will not be applicable on the new tariff. However, customers will migrate to the revised tariff after the expiry of the commitment period. The circles will have to revise the discount on the new tariff to the existing customers.
For ISPs, the local lead charges will not be applicable for bandwidths of 8 Mbps and above within the local telephone system area. For local lead beyond the local telephone system area, full charges shall be payable.
Discount for Educational Institutions: For educational institutions, a discount of 20% will be offered on bandwidths of less than 2 Mbps and 40% on bandwidths of 2 Mbps or more.
Loyalty discount from second year may be allowed @ 10%.
All other terms and conditions will e as per the existing instructions. The above tariff is to be made applicable w.e.f. 1^st February, 2008.
